Mini Van and Motorcyclist Collide; One Woman Injured, According to Scanner

Traffic Collision Car AccidentAccording to scanner traffic at approximately 5:30 p.m., a female motorcyclist in her 20’s and a minivan collided near the intersection of West Buhne and Union Streets in Eureka. The motorcyclist is injured.

City Ambulance is responding.

  • I saw her at Pierson’s not 30 minutes before she was hit. Hope she recovers quickly.

    • Stop parking at corners. Minivan couldnt see me cuz too many ignorant peeps park on corners. I could be dead & my kids would be pretty upset.
      Thank all the emergency responders and people who stop to help. I’m thankful it wasnt as bad as it could have been. I lost 30 years of age but still have my life and hope to ride again real soon.

      • Defensive driving is a must on a motorcycle, you have to expect every intersection you are going to get run over every car is going to pull into your lane, you have to expect that no one can see you because they probably can’t. if you ride this way chances are you can avoid most inattentive drivers! You learned this lesson the hard way I guarantee you will never ride the same way.
