Orleans Old Timers’ Day Parade Celebrates 50th Anniversary of Suspension Bridge

Orleans enjoyed its 69th Old Timers’ Day Parade on Sunday. At the event, community elders are honored with a big parade which is followed by a potluck picnic. This year, the town also celebrated the 50th anniversary of the dedication of the new suspension bridge over the Klamath River.  “Everyone had fun, even in the heat,” said resident Penny Eckert.

They also set the standard for small town parade floats. These are wonderful.
