Possibly to illustrate that drivers continue to take theirs and others’ lives into their phone hand instead of safely driving…

Put down the phone and drive or stop and help.

Support the people actually trying to help and stop being an errant driver.

That’s not what I saw as I passed at 3:25. I saw the Nissan truck smashed in the front and the Sequoia smashed in the driver side doors, t-boned. I told my wife that Sequoia must have been doing a u-turn on the highway. Hope all are well.

That’s exactly what happened. The accident happened in the Northbound lane & because the Sequoia, who was traveling in the “slow” lane was trying to do a U-turn, entered the path of the “fast” lane where the Nissan was. They ended up in the Southbound lanes.

The backstory: Two men of Slavic ethnicity had just bought the car and like idjiots put it in low 4 wheel and when it wouldn’t go over 35mph on the freeway attempted to turn around and got t-boned. Fleeing to protect themselves, well, their visas, they left their girlfriend passed out in the vehicle. Truth.
