EPD Arrests Man for Possession of Stolen Vehicle and Probation Violation

This is a press release from the Eureka Police Department. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:

On May 30, 2017, at about 5:07 p.m., the Eureka Police Department received information that a stolen Toyota 4Runner was parked in the Walmart parking lot on the 3300 block of Broadway. Officers responded and located the vehicle parked and occupied by two male passengers.

Officers conducted a high risk traffic stop and detained the two occupants. It was determined the driver of the vehicle, Victor Becerra, 21 of Eureka, had gone into the store prior to officers arrival. Officers searched inside the store but were unable to locate Becerra. The passengers were interviewed and released and the vehicle was returned to the owner.

At about 9:20 p.m., officers received information that Becerra was walking near the 1300 block of Bayshore Way. Officers located Becerra and took him into custody without further incident. Becerra was transported and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility for possession of a stolen vehicle and probation violation.

  • Perhaps he was at Walmart purchasing pimple cream. Those forehead zits are rather extreme.

  • What a shame. More of the same.

  • Still Discriminative Against Farmers

These criminals terrorize our neighborhoods, Rob our homes, steal our cars, stop worrying about cannabis an get these iceheads an meth-heads off the streets an leave the hard working farmers alone …. Do your jobs instead of just trying to forfeit assets into your pockets cops…

    • Just remember it has nothing to do with what is right or wrong. It’s all about MONEY! Meth labs are too expensive to deal with and also too dangerous. You know, “catch and release” the users, but don’t deal with the source of the problem, which is the local labs.

People here in Humboldt county are getting tired of being poisoned by these zombies. Unless some money is released soon to deal with this situation, I see vigilante groups springing up to stop the labs. Too bad we couldn’t find a way to make closing these labs down profitable for our police agencies like marijuana is! It is hard to believe something so toxic and harmful to the citizens of this county is just being ignored. I think changes and lawsuits are coming soon!

    • Honeydew Bridge C.H.U.M.P.

Marijuana growers brought the meth to exploit trimmers & traffic in humans.

If marijuana was gone all other drugs would vanish as well.

Everyone knows that Devil’s Lettuce is a gateway drug and instigator of all criminal activity.

Marijuana was first ingested by Eve in The Garden Of Eden-

      hence, the name Devil’s Lettuce.

Marijuana got humanity evicted from Eden and continues to plague humanity to this day.

Every person growing marijuana is equally responsible for this alleged crime.

Marijuana is crime & crime is marijuana….

  • piece of work i bet his mothers proud .oh shes probably on meth. meth parents breed meth baby’s who grow up to terrorizes us all
