I hope they do a better job there than we’ve seen in Garberville area. It’s been more of patching jobs than resurfacing. And what’s that smelly block long ‘spill’ by the hospital? And Cedar street is still a mess!
Myrtle’s not that bad. Lots of other streets that need it more. Who makes these stupid decisions?
Measure Z was billed as funding for Police, Fire, and other public safety items. Measure Z was NOT to bail the County out of routine road maintenance that they’ve been ignoring for decades. Our Supervisors tried to pass a new road tax and it FAILED. Now they are misappropriating funds that were promised for safety. It is true that they wrote the Measure Z language so they could sneak in just about anything they want but what about the PROMISES they made in interviews, radio, TV, and print ads?
I voted for it to help roads. Maybe I’m an exception but I’m thrilled my road got some help.
Myrtle is fine. Why not pave second out by target or somewhere that actually needs repaving?
They just paved myrtle 12 years ago. I’m surprised but it makes sense since it gets so much use.
Wtf With the roads down here barley drive able
