Road Work on Cedar Street by the Hospital in Garberville
The red line indicates how much of Cedar Street will be closed in Garberville today.
Denton Carrick of Humboldt County Public Works tells us that Cedar Street in Garberville will be closed from Elm to Pine Street for work today. Don’t try to access the hospital by heading up Pine and turning left onto Cedar. Use Conger Street instead.

I’m glad they are fixing this boondoggle. I can’t imagine how it got so messed up when the street was “repaved,” a few weeks ago, which s what they are calling all the patch jobs done around town.
These are hardly what I consider a ‘repaving’ job by any consideration. To say the least, I’m pretty disappointed that’s the best they can do with our tax monies.
