Supposed to be dry for a week or more. If they work at cutting back at the top, above the slide, they may be able to keep it open.
I have missed the CHRONICLE so badly I could almost cry. Glad the road is open😎

Drivers, start your engines! Who will win the Bridges Creek grand prix. Its the F350’s of team grow[edit] against the clapped out beamers of team tweak. Don’t count out local favorite team grumpy in their old, old toyota trucks. Green flag!

scooter…Best thing I’ve read in awhile… Wish I would have seen it before the edit… Maybe it was even more fun inserting my own grow “blank”…. Thanks

Hey scooter. The big jacked up trucks are called grow dozers.

I wonder what Scooter called them; what justified the “edit.” It must have been spot-on.

As you can see, my sense of humor has got me in trouble. My original post was edited by Kym, as it offended her. I understand completely. I should restrict my off the wall humor to the proper venue, as should you.

The area above the Cat looks unstable. I wonder how they determined to start below it. We are supposed to have a week without rain, but a trembler would surely cause a problem. I think I will stay home for a month.

Me, too. I wanted to come up for the KMUD Block Party, but now that I’ve seen what passes for “open,” I’m thinking not…. Darn.

Wearing a motorcycle helmet through that section might be a good idea.

Hi guys! I wanted to know if anyone could tell me if we could drive by the hwy? I keep saying news that is one-way open but if I put the gps it will say the is road close, we are driving from the Bay Area to eureka to see family but we do not want to go the other way since it’s way longer and never drove there just through 101. Thanks in advance for any info!
