So sorry that someone felt there was no hope left for them & decided to end it all with a gun!!! Leaving one extremely large mess for their family likely as not to have to clean up, as well as be haunted by for the rest of their lives!!!

This man was my grandpa and the best man anyone could ever know. He was married to my grandma for 65 years and his heart was broken beyond repair from her passing.

Sounds like it wasn’t a suicide as much as death from a broken heart. Condolences on both your losses, I hope they are together again.

I hope you can find some peace and I hope you understand where your grandfather’s heart was. He made a difficult and painful decision. We don’t die well in the US. I respect his decision to go out on his own terms.
