  • I so hope the beautiful dobe finds his way home or finds a new home thats better than the one he had.

  • With the mass influx of people and their dogs to Humboldt this spring, a friendly reminder to the ‘newbies, ranchers will shoot your dog(s) for running wild.

  • I hope he finds his owners soon.
PS., They make excellent livestock guards when raised with them.

  • I helped this Doberman get to the Humboldt County Animal Shelter, he is very very sweet. He would be great in a family , seemed a little shy, but he had been on his own for a few weeks.. he would lean his head on me while I helped get ticks off.. not guard dog type at all..

  • Doberman Pinschers are the best dogs I’m on my 4th in my lifetime i have 1 at a time whoever adopts him will love the breed

    • That is wonderful to hear, I admit to knowing almost nothing about them, but this guy was such a gentle dog that I am more aware of their personality a bit more.I’m sure hoping he finds nice people asap!!

  • If he had a green collar on, I had seen him out by four corners a couple of times. Towards chemise road.

    • yep…that was part of his story, I put a poster out there..asked around, found out he had bounced around getting a little food here and there…it was time for him to get into a steady situation…someone didn’t look for him for at least a month…

  • Thank you mary ellen!
This kind of information about the pooch is incredibly helpful!!!! Its hard at the shelter to really determine a dogs temperment as its so stressful for them. Knowing he is sweet will hopefully help him find a forever home, poor guy!

  • Bing him hea to cadillac wok he my dog!
