You could be more sensitive instead of assuming!!! That child was a very sweet kid and loved in his community. The boy was subsisting for eels. So now how do you feel plus the boy didn’t make it. You insensitive person. Do you Always jump to the negative assumption. Shame on you. That boy had a great Mom and Dad whom loved him. I hope you don’t have any children.

We were at the dog park in Eureka when a CalFire helicopter came in low, landing at the hospital. I thought it might have been this person and was relieved they were coming in for treatment. The fact of CPR at the scene sounds a little scary, though! Hope s/he makes it!

This is a young kid whose life was taken by a freak accident of nature and his family has already been through so much so if you don’t have something nice to say then you need to get off this because it would really suck if his family were to see all the hatred and ignorance. This poor kid was only 15.

A girl died south of Coos Bay this same way this weekend. As a kid 40 years ago I was playing with a log in the surf at Bear Harbor, surf went out I was trapped under the log. My dad waited for the next wave to float the log again and pulled me out. Lessened learned any wood floating in the surf is deadly. Holding your breath under water with a log across your legs hoping the wave is big enough to float it again will get your attention now.
