Actually, it’s really not a “Frick in” joke. It’s enough to get you in trouble. Weapons too, remember. It’s pretty simple: no good can come of that.

MOGTX……[edit] Meth is meth no matter how much. Today a gram, tomorrow an ounce. After that, they are robbing our homes to support their addiction. Stop people at the beginning and maybe they have a chance.

Mogtx, you are normally so level headed. You have got to stop blaming ALL the meth problems in Humboldt on the Mexican cartels. We have plenty of local lowlife cooks that produce this poison. Wake up and smell the chemical fumes. It’s time to clean house and get rid of this disease! Since eradication of this problem has been on the back burner for 4 or 5 years, it’s time to again get proactive and wipe this out. Lets use some of the weed money to go after this real problem, major issue, here in Humboldt that is affecting us all. Watch the crime totals drop as the enforcement of these controlled substances step up. Go get em “DTF”!

Sorry if everyone thinks this is an insignificant case. It is the resposibility of the LEO’s to harass and marginally disrupt these felons and probationers. I hope they spend more than 15 minutes in jail for these offenses. Thanks to the Sheriff’s Deputies for paying attention to dangerous people!

Warrants should be issued for the entire town, search ’em all, deport any criminals to Mexico, after they work at building the wall.

I’m thinking, build this wall, empty all jails into Mexico.

It’s way cheaper and Mexico can use the cultural immersion of our empty jails.

Rio Dell should be searched while they are there.

Gosh I wish you had the gumption to say who you are. I remain anonymous but rarely comment and yet I always see you commenting and they are just horrendous stupid and mostly mean and violent. Obviously you are a troll, but this site does provide locals with a lot of good info(the slideands and road conditions the comments actually being helpful) and then there are people like you… pretty sad and it’s too bad you can’t reveal yourself with your wild finger pointing and general trolling. I get it if you don’t get laid or have been thru some trauma, but there is help for you,and trying to rile people up on a small scale local news outlet run by a few people is childish and I hope you can realize how futile it is. Just my two cents. Who r ya? Care to share?

This picture is taken on Davis Street, my house is shown. While I try to always follow the laws, I would certainly object to having my privacy invaded and my home searched. I resent the inference that I must be some type of criminal to live in this town. You, Honeydew Bridge Chump, are ignorant!

First of all mr. Newell owns that property and others in the county. Ask the nieghbors there was no traffic like a drug dealer would have and that amount of meth about 7 grams is a misdameanor and all you people make sure you dont get ripped off even a consumer is going to have a weighing device. So what the real crime here was the way the police entered the residence.

I agree but to an extent what if that was your family? Would you want your son or daughter getting a bullet to the head? I’ve never used drugs in my 22 years but I’ve seen what it does to people, but seriously think about that what if it was your son Or daughter and someone said just put a Bullet in their head!

It was a little different they should ask someone there. First the police showed up lookinng for jeffrey f. Newell. This is a completely different individual then the Mr.Newell who lived at the residence. When Mr. Newell informed the officers of this and that they coukd not proceed to enter he was informed the .officers were coming “in one way or another ” and yanked open the steel security door. Then they told Mr.Newell to provide idntification. He responded that his ID should be in his back pocket but was not sure because he just woke up. After a though search officers said it wasnt there and Mr. Newell suggested it may be in his room. An officer went to look and spotted the30_30 on an ottoman. After this an officer went to get a warrant. Not only is that document not numbered it says nothing about the officers being told they had the wrong person or forcing their way in.they said that entering the bed room was in good faith .When five armed men enter yourhome by force immeadiately restrain you and then ransack your home, none of this was good faith. Flurthermore, this was a probaation not amnything but, it was the Humboldt county drug task force.

This could happen to anyone of you just know that. As far as the drugs well it is not as it was describe

Also one firearm was none functional and after tge proper accounting what do you think.

If you are reffering to me let me say that what a person does in the privacy of their home is their business. There is no “drug traffic” hell nieghbors blew upa building and killed someone with bho lab. This individual does none of. That another nieghbor shot at their roommate, once again nit happening here. Furthermore this is the third time mr. Newell has endured this type of behavior of a wrong identity and is aware the officers never had to enter The residence to verify the id. Instead they entered in a criminal like fashion. Dont be surprised if there becomes a lawsuit and the county pays for their mistake , as well as those involved. Regardless of the result the means does not justify the end and it is important tomaintain that stance. I have no doubt you all have something to hide dont be the next victim

They should auction off the guns to raise revenue. I’ve been looking for a good brush gun. I’m not a big Glock fan but for the right price I’ll put it in the gun case.

My thoughts were 12 grams how about 12 pds would be alot better .,but 12 grams is better than nothing .I just would like law enforcement to make a big bust of high high volume of meth from who ever is making it weather it be Mexican ,white trash African American. Who knows .it seem to be to much for the downy crew

The quick answer to your question and concerns after researching this problem for years is “MONEY”! We don’t have the training, equipment, and knowledge to process a drug lab in Humboldt county. So if one is found personnel have to be brought in from out of the area at a very high cost to the local coffers.

Thus, this has not been a priority since the federal funds were ended in 2012. You know, kind of looking the other way, so we don’t have to spend money we don’t have.

As with most all things in life, good or bad, it always gets back to the MONEY! Not a question of what is right or wrong. I hope this will change sooner rather than later.

First of all every one if you perform at least one misdemeanor a day. That woukd be use you cell phonevwhike driving. That has the ability to negatively affect hundreds of people. Second if you are going to pass judgement come out of the closet. You orovide your argument in a manner that is at best without backbone
