[UPDATE 9:13 a.m.] Power Lines Blocking Alderpoint Road

A power line went down near the intersection of Redwood Drive and Alderpoint Road at approximately 8:25 a.m. As a result, Alderpoint Road is closed.

Several small fires have started. One by Blue Star Gas. One by Bear Creek Bridge.

PG&E is responding.

This could be the cause of the power outage to many in Southern Humboldt.

UPDATE 9:13 a.m.: PG&E has removed the line. Road open. Fire extinguished.
