Briceland Thorn Road Blocked [Maybe by a Greenhouse Frame?]

According to a report over the scanner about 1:15 p.m., Briceland Thorn Road is blocked by metal pipes that appear to be the frame from a greenhouse. About 30 to 40 cars are backing up at the scene which appears to be a mile west of Briceland, according to the California Highway Patrol Incident Page.

The person reporting the incident said that a pickup hauling a trailer had dropped its load. Occupants of the blocked cars are attempting to drag the pipes off the road. CHP are on their way.
The map below shows where the CHP believes the incident occurred.

If the guy that took pictures when he drove by posts them: I just want to point out that the two guys standing by the truck (after it was cleared) were two of the guys that helped clear the road, not the owners of the black dodge or the huge “greenhouse(?)” that got dumped. Just want to point that out before any assumptions are made because they are a couple of locals just trying to help out so they could get through.

The property owners. What a surprise to come home to. Holy Sh**, MY GREENHOUSE IS IN THE ROAD. This is almost a feel good story, with all the bad news around. Glad no one ran off the road.

Not sure if they were driving to fast or not, but the trailer came off the hitch.

Don’t forget a lot of these drivers have none or little experience pulling a trailer.

Yesterday, driving to SoHum to and from Eureka, we must have seen 20 trucks hauling greenhouse poles. Busy growers.
