Don’t give out any descriptions or names, people might figure out who, and where the perp is and report him.

I know it’s NOT Kym’s fault for poor reporting, but jeeze, why do the police even bother to say something happened. It seems like they would learn something after they started with the local “Most Wanted” and got such great results. People are screaming for less crime and they are willing to do what ever they can to stop crime, but they need information they they can use to help. Come on, help us help….

EPD does not say but I sense a drug deal gone bad

Yep 1:49 am has to be drugs and she has to know who it was. Very poor press release by the PD with no discription or name of suspect. Come on now EPD you can do better than that

Yup, no one is ever walking home, or to a friend’s house, from the bar at that time, ever, right?

I’m not saying that a drug deal is a wrong or right assessment, but neither the time, nor place, automatically means it was a drug deal.

(Come on now EPD you can do better than that) statement is questionable at best!!! Given their recent track record including but not limited to them shooting up the downtown area a couple or so months back trying to stop a “Criminal” wanted for evading them at a traffic stop!!! A true “Hardened Criminal”!!! NOT!!!

Noticed AGAIN on Loco Booked that Lorenzo Marquis Shelton was arrested 7 times from Feb 26 – yesterday Mar 1. Last year a stretch had him arrested 24 times in 32 days. They range from theft, prob violation, assault, drunk, and more. Figure he was arrested 100+ times last year, and about 20 times already this year. Most are late night to early AM. He is one of many that have a revolving door for them at our jail. Police are spending valuable time dealing with these career ‘minor’ law breakers, no wonder communities are being victimized day after day. No consequences by the courts what so ever !!!!

Alan Cook gets arrested “drunk in public” at least 5 times a week. Sometimes more than once a day. He is not alone.
When I think of the man hours involved in arresting and processing him, only to turn him loose within hours, I wonder why we allow this incredible waste of our limited resources & do not recognize that TREATMENT IS A BETTER OPTION.

Alan’s been doing this for years. How his body keeps on ticking is a mystery! Treatment already. Or a place where they can go drink themselves to death… like in Portland.
