[UPDATE 4:50 p.m.] Tree Blocking Hwy 36; Traffic Backing Up

According to the California Highway Patrol Incident page, a tree has fallen east of Grizzly Creek State Park about mile marker 23 at approximately 4:22 p.m.

The tree is blocking both lanes. Traffic is backing up.

UPDATE 4:38 p.m.: Caltrans isn’t expected to be on the scene until about 5 p.m.

UPDATE 4:50 p.m.: The roadway is now clear.
