Stolen Pickup Loaded With Marijuana Burned on Hwy 36

marijuana 1 featureA stolen Mazda B2300 pickup was found engulfed in flames on Hwy 36 about mile marker 9.

According to scanner traffic, the vehicle was loaded with marijuana.

No word on if the firefighters felt any effects from the smoke.

California Highway Patrol spokesperson Cy may said the vehicle had been taken from Eureka and a tow truck was responding to the scene.

Good job kym you are so on it you the woman.another burned out car on 36 ,but this is a first that I have ever scene. talk about destroying the evidence hope the fire crew got stoned to the bone .

I came around the corner upon this truck on fire & there was no marijuana in the bed of the truck, but the cab was fully engulfed. The Caltrans guy & I was there until the fire truck & sheriff showed up. I never smelled anything like pot burning either/a little exaggerated on being loaded of marijuana. A very small red Mazda truck.

If you have any info about the details can you contact me? I am the owner of the truck. I was looking for someone who found it so I can get more info on how long it was burning and where it was exactly located. Anything helps. I wanna nab the person who did this. I believe they live close to me. Thanks for that bit of info so far.
