We have a vibrant local 4-H group who give back to the community. Can you help them?

4-H is having a bake sale this Tuesday 10-4 in Garberville next to Flavors.

There will be lots of baked goods, some small gifts, and gift baskets available.

Please come out and support your local 4H!

Alas, the only thing I do on valentine’s day these days is check if wet4her, pinkcherry, shevibe, etc are having any good sales…

The desserts look amazing but…what if you sold some locally raised and butchered meat that was a product of your hard work last summer. Folks might line up with ice chests and you can promote your program. Locally raised filet for a Valentine’s day dinner= Love.

The ones for sale are auctioned off at the fair. The smaller local markets buy them.

The 4-H program for kids and young adults is a wonderful program offering a wide variety to both boys and girls. If you have a child you should seriously look into getting them involved. Families should take advantage of the opportunity. I am glad to see they are still in So Humboldt. It is worth the drive!
