Woman Tased After Trying to Evaded Law Enforcement Currently on Probation for Assaulting Law Enforcement

This is a press release from the Fortuna Police Department. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guiltyValerie Robinson:

On February 12, 2017 at approximately 10:15 AM, an officer was flagged down by a citizen reporting a female subject driving a vehicle with no tires in the area of Rohnerville Road and Kenmar Road.  At the same time, the department’s communications center also received a 911 call reporting the same.

The officer responded and upon arrival, located a female trying to drive a 2003 Toyota Sedan which was missing the left rear tire.  The female was continually pressing the accelerator trying to go forward but was unsuccessful.  The female then put the vehicle in reverse and backed into a patrol vehicle parked behind her.  Once striking the vehicle, the female continued pressing the accelerator, spinning her tires.  The female refused to comply with commands to stop or exit the vehicle.  After several attempts to get the female to exit the vehicle, Officers forced entry and a Taser was deployed.

  • VC 23152 – Driving Under the Influence
  • VC 23103 – Reckless Driving
  • PC 148(a) – Resisting Arrest
  • PC 1203 – Probation Violation (Currently on probation for assaulting law enforcement and evading)

Why on earth is she on probation for assault on a peace officer? Assemblyman Wood and Senator McGuire introduce some bills to keep people like this locked up!

‘Partially Nude Woman Tried to Evade Deputy and Three CHP Officers Yesterday’
July 8, 2015
https://kymkemp.com/2015/07/08/partially-nude-woman-tried-to-evade-deputy-and-three-chp-officers-yesterday/

…the woman stopped and reversed towards one of the CHP vehicles and attempted to ram it. The officer driving also had to take evasive action to avoid being hit. Eventually, the woman attempted to make a U-turn, went off the bank, rolled the vehicle on its side and “lodged against a tree,” said Young.

The woman “kept trying to drive [the vehicle] while it was on its side,” Young explained. When the officers attempted to take her into custody, she fought back. “She hit one CHP officer and broke his sunglasses,” Young said.

Valerie Sue Robinson, age 42 from King Salmon, was eventually taken into custody though. Young says that the woman was charged with stealing a vehicle, resisting arrest in a violent manner, and assault with a deadly weapon (two times–because of the alleged attempts to ram the officers in their vehicles.)

We are not dealing with the source of this problem. The Drug Labs and the people manufacturing these controlled substances.

There is no more Federal funding to actually close down the labs. This is a national crisis we are in the midst of because of the backing off of the “War Against Drugs”, since 2012. When you understand that your police force operates on money, just like any other business, you will see the problems at hand, and why the manufacture of these controlled substances aren’t being dealt with!

During these cutbacks unfortunately the enforcement that is the most costly and drains their resources, goes away first. Not a pretty picture, especially if you have a meth lab in your neighborhood! Many of the maladies that a meth user faces will also affect the innocent neighbors in range of the chemicals released during manufacture of the drug. Actually the chemicals and gases released are more toxic than the meth that is produced.

We again need to see the felony, “H.S. 11379.6, Manufacturing a Controlled Substance”, enacted and again being enforced to the maximum. With contaminated air, water, and food nothing else will really matter, as you will loose your health. It’s time now to get our priorities straight with this major problem and find the funding to address this major predicament we are in.

Keep your eyes open and be aware of illegal activities that might be going on in your neighborhood. Communicate with each other when you spot a potential problem. Stay alert.

Thank you!!! This is one of the better posts ive seen. We do need to watch out for each other and our neighborhoods. In other parts of the state and country the police tell you the items to watch for that are used in meth labs, like lots of old 5gal propane tanks.
A friends son unfortunately got hooked on meth and became a “tester” for new batches of meth. Meaning the cook was trying different chemical compounds in their recipe to see what the effect was like. So sad and probably happens a lot.

The war on drugs has failed. Prohibition never succeesed at getting drugs off the streets. It only succeeds at militarizing police and crimimals.

The bulk of the meth is not even made in this country. When is the last time a meth lab was busted or blew up in this county? The war on drugs is nothing but a hoax built on government propaganda. It amazes me that after decades of failure there are still people who just don’t see it.

Wake up and smell the chemical fumes! We have independent Caucasian methamphetamine cookers here in Humboldt county. Maybe some of you folks don’t have the proper genes that control what you are able to smell, since you are in denial.

Look up Nazi, cold cook, shake and bake, so you’ll understand how the drug is manufactured here locally. Hiding your head in the sand won’t make it go away.

Blaming in ALL on the Mexican cartels is a good cop-out! Until we address this issue, this drug and all the collateral damage it causes will not stop!

Some tweeker making a tiny batch of crank in a soda bottle in his bathroom is not the same as a meth lab in my opinion. If you are capable of just walking around and sniffing out meth chemicals then I would say you are most likely the only person who has those “proper genes” and you should consider yourself special.

Problem is that “tweeker” you are talking about whips up a batch many times during the week. An hour here, an hour there. Dumping all the toxic chemicals in the neighborhood. How much is acceptable in your mind? I say none! Ask the little two year old boy in Eureka about when he got severely burned from a tiny bathroom batch that blew up. I hope he is still alive.

If you want to minimalize the collateral damage this drug cause that’s your choice.

Also, if you want to be “special” and have your senses operate at maximum efficiency you need to get plenty of rest, eat right, drink lots of water, get exercise, and don’t visit blogs at 5:00 in the morning!
Keep your eyes and ears open, you never know where I’ll be sniffing around next!

A non-winnable “drug war” that’s extremely profitable to both sides of the “war” is the real culprit.

Yes people do need to look out for each other. Where were you when 2 of my neighbors died under suspicious circumstances in Arcata. My car tires were slashed by meth addicts running at me and my female neighbors with knives while the men in the apartments across the street stood and watched. Where were you?

Yep. Shes a mess. My prayers go to her? Remember, it’s better to treat drug problems with jobs and support than with jail. We backed off on the war on drugs because it was a waste of money, but your trumpster will bring it back, so dont worry.

Accountability! Who’s going to pay for the damaged cop car? They should take everything this women has. I assume she don’t have much. It’s so great to know that hard working tax paying citizens get to pay for this women’s indiscretions. Take her license for life. Make her get a job and repay the cost of the damages she caused, and then some to make her think twice before doing something stupid again. If sentences for crimes were much worse than the crimes themselves, then maybe these worthless leeches wouldn’t commit crimes.

Similar story out of Calaveras County last year. The woman was so wasted on opiods, driving on rims, she didn’t even realize her car was on fire. Sparks from the rims started multiple fires on both sides of the road. The area was a tinderbox after years of drought. Butte Fire the previous year burned out 100s of Calaveras and Amador County residents, and 72,000+ acres.

The guy who drove in front of her car, forcing her to stop and then pulled her out of the burning vehicle, saving her life, is a member of the local cannabis association. He and other members of the association that lived nearby put out several of the fires. CalFire had to use copter drops to put out all of the fires; 450 acres burned. Very fortunately, no lives lost and mimimal property damage; iirc, one garage burned down. If he hadn’t stopped her forward progress up that road, it could have been another catastrophic fire.

This lady has had a drinking problem for a long time. Shes highly highly unpredictable too. So kudos to law enforcement for getting her under control.

I was running a show a number of years back at a casino, and she came up to me out of the blue while (didnt realize she was running from security) first tried to throw all the sound equipment on the ground than went after me.
