[UPDATE 8:17 p.m.: Open!] Tree in Powerline Blocks Thomas Road West of Miranda
According to a reader, a tree fell into a powerline dropping it over Thomas Road west of Miranda. The road is blocked, the reader says. Salmon Creek Volunteer Fire Department is responding.

UPDATE: The road is blocked. It may be blocked overnight.
UPDATE 7:13 p.m.: At this point we’re waiting on PG&E. They will have to deal with the power lines. After that, then the tree can be removed. According to Thomas Norris, a Salmon Creek firefighter, reportedly PG&E will be on scene about 7:30 p.m.
UPDATE 8:12 p.m.: Should be open about 8:45 p.m.
UPDATE 8:17 p.m.: According to scanner traffic, the road is open.
