Redwoods Rural Health Center’s Medical Building Closed for Maintenance for Several Days; Those With Appointments Call the Office
Press release from Redwoods Rural Health Center:
The medical building is temporarily closed for facility maintenance.
Redwoods Rural Health Center contacted Humboldt County Environmental Health who sent a team of investigators. On Wednesday afternoon, they determined an unused sewer drain was emitting fumes that accumulated in the building. In order to fully ventilate and clean the building, RRHC medical building will be closed until further notice.
If you have a medical appointment scheduled this week, please contact RRHC. In the meantime, medical patients can still access some services via the dental front desk. We will notify the public as soon as we’re open for business, presumably early next week.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. The health and wellbeing of RRHC’s employees and patients are our top priority.
