Dryer Fire Prompts Evacuations at HSU

Firefighters are responding code 3 to a fire in a dryer at Humboldt State University as of 12:31 p.m. Cypress Hall on the HSU campus is being evacuated.

UPDATE 12:36 p.m.: Fire is controlled, reports firefighter from the scene.

Somebody didn’t take the lint out!!and when they keep getting used without being cleaned it ignites! Silly rabbits

Rabbits have more sense than some students who, for someone supposedly educated can make some of the dumbest moves around!!!

Why do they have dryers? Isn’t humboldt all about green , hang them dry , stop climate change , let’s protest dryers on campus

Lint traps do not catch all the lint. Every 1-3 years you should have the dryer taken apart and cleaned. I found this out Christmas morning at my rentals. Now I know.
