Shively Road Collapsed

Shively Road collapsed earlier this evening about three and a half miles in from Hwy 101. According to Pat Rose, a resident of the area, there is only about a two foot edge left that allows for people to walk around the hole.

A 12 foot section of the road has “dropped at least 5 ft but was moving when we left,” according to Rose.

She and her husband put up signs. “The county has been notified,” she said. “[T]hey came and put a few more road blocks.”

Earlier today, the County was trying to keep it open. They will be back tomorrow.

How can you equate encouraging literacy to what the nazis did? You’re a really sick person!

It’s the only way in and out of Shivley in the winter[edit]. I have family in Shively. We have bigger problems than worrying about a President leaving office. It’s time we all work together again. That’s what’s wrong with America. Stupid comments that don’t need to happen.

Where is Shively Rd located? Closest town? It sounds very familiar, but can’t place it. Thank goodness no one came through there before the signs were placed!

Grammar makes it easier to read what people put up. And it’s a good way to understand the writer. When there’s no grammar I tend to think it’s an uneducated or drunk dumb person commenting. Not you G-mas, I like what you write, just not the way you write it because it’s harder to read and I guess I’m lazy.

Haters? You liberals always call someone a ‘hater’ when you don’t like what another person says. No hate involved here. Bunny Wilder is correct.

I lived in Shively in 1955 when the road was built. At least it was (usually) passable. Mud and all.
Summer bridge looks better all the time.
