All those drivers that hit trees in the road were driving too fast for conditions.
I was there and only two vehicles hit it. I stopped inches from it. Yes people slow down.
In this weather slow down and be alert! It’s irresponsible to drive otherwise.
Thank you kym for being up all night with these storms.
Only until 2. Then I headed to bed once things began to quiet down.
If you are new to Humboldt….have a emergency plan during these storms. I actually set up an emergency plan for myself last night. glad I didn’t need it but it felt good to have it and enabled me to get some sleep after 11pm….
Be Prepared at home and in vehicles.
