Zenia Man Arrested for Burglaries

This is a press release from the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:

JOHANNSONOn Monday, January 16, 2017 Officers from the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office, Trinity County Probation Department and United States Forest Service served a search warrant on a residence associated with Earl Johannson of Zenia, CA. While conducting the search warrant Officers located stolen property from three recent burglaries all in the Zenia area. Additionally, property was located from a fourth theft which had gone unreported. Johannson was arrested for the burglaries and possession of stolen property. The majority of the located property was returned to its rightful owners, while the remainder has been booked into evidence at the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office.

Earl Johannson is currently in-custody at the Trinity County Jail and is being held without bail.

  • Awesome! without bail!, yes! humboldt listen And learn please, I know there is more but he will be locked up unable to do more harm until it is known or atleast investigated,(it is messed up this guy gets no bail but Marci k. And a thousand others are out poaching)

    • The practice of allowing bail has been corrupted. Bail terms are not based on risk to the public, they are used to generate profit.

  • It looks like Trinity County agencies work together in unison.

    Why doesn’t the Humboldt County Probation Department do the same thing by getting out into the field and serving search warrants? Crime would be lower if supervised folks actually got supervised, searched, and busted, as need be. I notice that they never do, other agencies pick up the slack by themselves instead.
