Weird Alarm in McKinleyville

Were you one of the folks worried about the weird siren/alarm about 4:30 p.m. yesterday? If so, we’ve got answers for you.

The McKinleyville Fire Department let us know that whenever there is a medical call in the airport a special alarm goes off. And that’s what you heard last night.

Somebody posted in the McKinleyville Community Watch group on Facebook that according to the scanner, a person called from the airport saying they had chest pain. Medical personnel responded, but on arrival couldn’t find the reporting party or anybody else claiming to have chest pain.
