I spoke with an Orick store owner a couple of days ago and she said there was no body. A homeless woman and her dog were sleeping by the creek. She fell in, got out and all her belongings were washed down the creek. She went to a nearby house and they gave her food, clothes and helped her get to Oregon where she’s now with one of her kids. The kind people who helped her are now stuck with her dog, a husky, and trying to find a home for it.
