[UPDATE] Hwy 36 Impacted by Traffic Accident at Larabee Valley

Traffic Collision Car AccidentA solo vehicle rollover blocked Hwy 36 at 1:17 p.m. As of 1:55 p.m. the road is still blocked impacted, according to scanner traffic. The incident is in the Larabee Valley at mile marker 34.7.

The van is back on its wheels and no one was injured.

UPDATE 2:05 p.m.: About 20′ of guardrail was damaged, according to a report on the California Highway Patrol page.

Yet another Dipstick that doesn’t know enough to SLOW DOWN on this Narow Windy Mountain Road, especially in the Winter Nights when it is VERY ICY up there!!! The residents don’t call it Ice Valley for grins!!!

Second that Dan. Had a dipstick pass me on double yellows, once down hill on Mc Clellan and the other on a slight curve today on 36. Here’s the kicker ! Same truck twice and then saw it a third time pulled over in Hydesville. Boy he sure saved a lot of time driving like an ass.

I’ve had the same problem more than a few times on this road some a$$hat isn’t satisfied with me doing the speed limit (for a change) & does that very thing after riding my bumper til he felt brave enough!!!
