[UPDATE 2:29 p.m.] Traffic Collision on Hwy 101

At approximately 2:06 p.m. a white sedan slammed into the embankment across the river from Phillipsville on Hwy 101. Reportedly someone was injured in the crash, according to a report to emergency dispatch.

An ambulance, Phillipsville Fire and Miranda Fire are responding.

UPDATE 2:27 p.m.: Emergency crews have not been able to locate the accident.

UPDATE 2:29 p.m.: CHP advised crews that the accident is actually nearer Benbow and no one was injured.
