[UPDATE 9:56 p.m.] Car Fire on Hwy 299
According to scanner traffic at approximately 9:22 p.m., a small sedan traveling eastbound on Hwy 299 caught on fire. According to the California Highway Patrol incident page, everyone is out of the vehicle safely. However, the sedan is blocking one lane.
UPDATE 9:52 p.m.: “The vehicle basically burned to the ground,” according to the dispatcher.
UPDATE 9:56 p.m.: According to the California Highway Patrol Incident page, the eastbound lane is closed and the westbound lane is partially impacted.

That’s rediculous. Should we also “find” everyone else whose home has a wood stove for “polluting our air” as well?
