Track Santa Via NORAD

Count down for Jolly Old Saint Nick starts at 10:00 pm tonight kids–young and old. Head over to http://www.noradsanta.org  Lots of thing for the kids to do while waiting for the countdown on the site.  You can go to the North Pole, play games, watch a movie, listen to music, and, most important, track Santa.

Throughout Dec 24th, there will be television interviews from  “NORAD tracks Santa” operations. Canadian fighter pilots will escort Santa over “The Great White North.”

Since 1955, thanks to Colonel Harry Shoup, North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) has tracked Santa with satellite’s high-powered radars and jet fighters, as Santa Claus makes his Christmas journey around the world.

Here’s North Pole Village air map/runway 18 for kids to see where Santa will take off every Christmas Eve:

On behalf of all the staff of Kym Kemp at RedHeaded BlackBelt, we would like to wish you and your families a very Happy Holidays.

Happy Hanukkah, the festival of the lights, and Merry Christmas, the birth of Jesus of Nazareth. Whether you celebrate Solstice, Kwanzaa, or the Flying Spaghetti Monster, spread the cheer and be kind to each other, please.
Thank you, Kym and staff, for the hard work you put in to bring us this incredible local news site. Enjoy your holidays.

A sincere thank you Kym and staff for all the tireless work you do! And to the American (f’ ya!) military command for keeping us all safe by knowing when he is sleeping and knowing when he is awake, and knowing when he is bad or good and all those toys get to the US and not some heathen land or we have a jet fighter escort, so be good for goodness sake there fat man!

I don’t believe in much of anything that you can’t hit with a hammer, but I do believe in the goodness of people and being good to people. The only rule that counts is the Golden Rule, and you can throw all the other rules away. I believe in good times, parties, sharing presents, and being good to kids and critters.

Sooooo…. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, have the greatest of Kwanzaas, and for all the Trolls out there enjoy Festivus. (Festivus is a holiday invented by Jerry Seinfeld where the central theme is good food, the symbol is an aluminum pole, and you get to bitch about everything and people have to listen.)

Santa brings enough coal down my chimney to keep my house warm, so it’s all good.
