Two Knocked Unconscious After Traffic Collision in Eureka
Eastbound Hodgson Street is blocked by the tow truck, but will be open soon.
According to Eureka Police Officer Tae Song, the car was heading south on G Street at around 40 miles per hour and failed to stop at the stop sign. The tow truck was traveling east on Hodgson and tried to brake but was unable to avoid the collision. A child in the tow truck was scared and was picked up by his mother.

Hope all are ok.geeze people slow down.please, kids are out of school
Not only slow down, but focus on the road, I think people’s redundant text conversations can wait until they reach their destination! You would have to be drunk, or on your phone to miss a stop sign! Luckily for this lady she didn’t end up putting hers, or someone’s else’s loved one on a gurney!
Geeze G-Mas, please use capital letters when you start a sentence and please put a space in between your sentences. I for so long have hoped you would catch onto how everyone else is doing it.
I’m sorry that’s so important to you.Maybe you shouldn’t read my old blind ass comments.i opps,I am almost blind pardon me.
Maybe they were passed out before the wreck!
Or just maybe she is a bad driver….
I believe the speed limit in a residential area is 35 mph.
It’s 25 MPH in a residential area, unless otherwise posted.
Wow, no wonder drivers around here are so terrible! “Oh I’m around a bunch of houses, and children, time to haul ass.” You people need to get your heads out of you asses, or licenses withdrawn!
Maybe they called a tow truck?
A little tiny car vs. a Flatbed truck. No contest. Thankfully the car occupants lived.
Almost had to also run the stops sign at Everding to get up to 40 mph at Hodgson, just one short block south.
