I wonder if these two have anything to do with the robbery of the smash and grab at the gas station in Arcata on the same night? I can no longer find the post???

They had more robberies in arcata last night and LEO caught two coming out of a business. It also was stated that they were connected to other robberies in the area.

Love the cooperation that all of the Law Enforcement Departments works together to investigate and gather evidence and than arrest those responsible for these types of violence. Hopefully, it the evidence supports a conviction, I hope they never see the light of day again.

A fantastic job by our Men & Women in Uniform. Thank you one and all for keeping us safe. God Bless.

Thank you Law Enforcement. Very timely. If they are convicted, may they languish in jail for many many years until they are old and wrinkled like a prune.

I know a friend who knew the victim and I just want to say thanks because I know that it makes him feel better when the people responsible are put away. Thank you to all detectives who make our lives safer.

Any idea if he molested a child related to one of the suspects? Word on the street is that’s why he was shot.

Why spread rumors like this?

Because.. evidently the suspects’ friends are just as scummy. Even if this were true, it’s not loving to your child to leave them by committing a [edit] crime and going to prison. But since that’s what these immature idiots did, any offspring they have are no doubt better off in a foster home. You could spit and hit someone better qualified to raise a child. These people and those that support them are unintelligent trash. [edit]

@ Patricia Thomson ~ I feel ya but in the same since, I have known many whom were raised in shitty households. We all have choices, either follow a destructive path or make a better path. She unfortunately chose the less attractive one of the two. I can’t express enough the fact that we all have choice everyday of our lives.

Is she thinking about what she did to the family of friends of Tyson?? Why are we required to have sympathy for her when she has no sympathy for what she did!! She was thenone that made the choice she did. She can not blame t on the life she had growing up. She should of made the choice to be better then what she had.
Maybe if your family out more effort into making her not feel worthless, a person who made people feel worthy wouldn’t be dead because an action your family member made.

Scott, you should never put something like that on public forum. This kid was an innocent murder victim. How would you like it if he were you son, brother, grandson, nephew…..and some ass came along inquiring about something like this? Sometimes as adults we have to think before we speak/type, seriously!!!

I can tell you this, no he didn’t. The word on the street is beyond wrong.
The people spreading the rumor is trying to save their friends and justify why they did what they did. It’s not true, (even if it was they still wouldn’t get off with a lesser charge because murder is murder!!)and it is being spread by another suspect that is yet to be found. The other suspect is saying that he molested his girlfriends kid 3-4 months ago. Why wait this long to do something if that’s why it happened?? Why not do it the second they found out?? why?! Because it never happened!! You don’t let someone get away with molesting your kid for months. You just don’t!!

it’s so easy for people not to look at there own flaws like Cindy who has done things in her past then to just look at the whole pic there are three family’s torn apart right now over this yes what my niece may have done is wrong and horrible but it affects not just her me and my family and nobody knows what happened but the two of them and Cindy don’t u call yourself a christian man your god must be a diff one than mine cause as far as I know got is the one to judge and gossiping not very christian like or not admitting at one u two did drugs

Your family member is still alive. Ours isn’t. Ours is in heaven dead, because a choice your relative made. Your family isn’t hurting because yor weren’t there for her to help her not make a choice like she did. I don’t care how much your family is hurting because she is in jail, our family is hurting because we never get to see him again.

I’ve known him since September 27th, 2012, we met by chance in the McDonald’s parking lot. Cesar, you’ve stolen from me, lied to me, and boy could you lie! 😂 But despite his unlawful lifestyle, and his other problems within his life, Cesar has a great heart. He’ll act tough and all, and say anything to keep up that reputation it seemed, but he would have no part in committing murder.. There’s a lot more to this story and I’ll be checking into it weekly. I know in my gut he should not be getting charged with murder.. I can tell you in a heartbeat if he’s lying about anything, I know him more than he knew I did. 😊

I peeked around on this guys FB last night and he wrote this an hour before he was arrested for murder:
“So glad to be out here on a good path. Life can only get Easyer (his spelling not mine) day by day. Got a job with my mom couldn’t be happier” Yes this is what he posted hours after murdering someone. Glad this guy and his girl are locked up!!

I looked at that too and the posts from friends and family of both the victim and the suspect made me despair of today’s youth. Clearly both were involved in so-called “gangsta culture”, all drugs and violence and faux-“ghetto” adolescent swagger and brag. It all left me asking “where are the parents?” Do these young men and women not have men and women in their lives to teach them how to be adults?

Seems like the values of previous generations – work, dignity, honor, self-control, responsibility, respect for others and oneself, presenting oneself as an adult in how one acts, talks, and dresses – what used to be called “manly qualities” – have gone out the window since the 60s and the “do your own thing man” Peter Pan values of the 60s/70s hippie/biker culture and their attendant flakiness, drug abuse, and adolescent badassery. I’m a liberal, mostly, but I’m having to admit that the current mode of liberalism has failed utterly. And the current mode of conservatism has too, even more so. What can be done?

why is it always the parents fault when young children and young adults decide to do the wrong thing what about peer pressure wanting to fit in my niece has had a rough upbringing but so did I and I’m not making those choices stop blaming the parents she is an adult she chose her path

It’s truly sad the total disregard for life so many kids have these days. In the 70’s this would have been a huge story even in Los Angeles. But today it’s common news even in rural Humboldt 🙁
