A tree fell closing Redwood Drive between Dean Creek and Redway. Power lines are down, too.

“Redwood Drive is closed at Willow and Con Camp Road,” according to Denton Carrick of Humboldt County Public Works. It could be “a couple of hours” from now before the road is open.

UPDATE 10:43 a.m.: Redwood Drive is open, according to Denton Carrick.

Sure are a lot of trees coming down in that area. Wondering if it has anything to do with the encampments through that stretch of the redwoods.

Yes, the trees fall down in protest of the stupid and selfish actions of humans…

If this were true, there wouldn’t be a living tree within 100 mile radius of Redway OR Goobsterdam.
