A large crowd of law enforcement are gathered around a home which has been marked with crime scene tape. The home is in the 300 block of P Street in Eureka.

A witness described seeing “at least 6 cop cars, no ambulance, and a group of grieving women.”

UPDATE 2:43 p.m.: According to our reporter on scene, Mark McKenna, this is a death investigation. He told us that the EPD are saying this is “a death of a single person but [are] not sure at this time what type of death….They are proceeding cautiously.”

Why don’t you know what the hell you’re talking about before posting something like that. It was definitely not an overdose. [edit]

She was a sweet girl and saying overdose and such is rude. She was not into drugs or alcohol…those comments are not necessary. She is a sweet soul. Please God give her peace. People have some respect.

People are saying it was stray bullets from the police involved shooting the other day…probably bullshit. Has anybody else heard this?

Frank I frankly agree with you. Please accept my condolences to you and family and friends. I know it’s hard but don’t read these comments because there is always some lowlife inconsiderate p.o.s. who can, and obviously has stired up the emotions of those who are grieving. My families prayers are absolutely with you and your family members tonight. Amen.

They usually dont block off a whole house and block for an overdose. Hazmat, gas or something like that caused it maybe?

This place is a so called co-ed clean and sober house. I was told that it was an 18 year old female that was found diseased in the shower with a sock in her mouth. I was told that by the people that lived there.

Darn that auto correct. Deceased (not diseased) in shower. Local TV news says stabbed, but the main point is, she has family in the area, and they are grieving. As for the idiots saying it was because of the police shoot out, you are just that, idiots.

Hmm looks a lot like the tweek stack neighborhood that tried to take me out in a car accident a few years ago. Guess it’s just another coincidence.
