12th Annual Humboldt County Animal Shelter Open House

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office cordially invites you to attend the 12th Annual Humboldt County Animal Shelter Open House! Come and join us for an afternoon of fun and help support the animals on Saturday, December 10th, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 980 Lycoming Ave in McKinleyville. We will have a silent auction and raffle items.
The proceeds from this event benefit the shelter’s Emergency Medical Fund which is managed by Friends for Life. With the community’s support, hundreds of animals have been saved because their medical needs were met. Let’s keep up the good work and keep this fund going!Christmas fair
Please feel free to stop by the Humboldt County Animal Shelter before Saturday to make a bid on silent auction items and/or purchase raffle tickets.
If you are unable to attend the event, please consider making a monetary donation to the Friends for Life fund online at https://www.dogrescuers.org. Donations can also be mailed to Friends for Life, P.O. Box 962, Eureka, CA 95502.Christmas fair

I had no idea how many amazing commited volunteers there are at this shelter until i volunteered. I highly recommend it, animal therapy that benefits both mammals involved!
The amount that gets done there on such limited budget is amazing. Think about just how big our county is and that this is the ONE shelter for the whole county. Its very impressive.
Please include these amazing folks in your holiday giving. Without the emergency medical fund wounded animals cannot get the help they need to survive.
