The Humboldt Bay Firefighters’ 4th Annual Bark in the Park 5k fun run was a great success. Through race participant’s generous donations and local business sponsors, HBFL 652 was able to present Friends for Life Animal Rescue with a $7,000 check. Friends for Life is a nonprofit organization that provides low cost spay/neuter, cat fostering, and manages the Emergency Shelter fund. Thank you for your support in our community! !! What an amazing job!
I had lived several years in a city where I had my cat on a leash because of an over load of feral cats. I would hate to see that happen in our community.
