A missing woman, Mary Dow, has been sought for two days in a rural area about 7 miles east of Hwy 1 near the coast of Mendocino. Dow recently had neck surgery which affected her speech and she may not be able to call out for help, according to Lt. Shannon Barney of the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office.

hmmm that hwy 1 has some bazaar missing person cases especially in Mendo not to mention the rest of the county and once again its a mushroom hunter, Kym is there any flyers available for this case?
Bohemian Grove….
No where near bohemian grove!
That’s where the missing people go, cremation of care.
It may or may not be related to this missing woman, but HCSO dispatch just broadcast a “Pager 30” alert, which indicates there’s been a call-out for the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue volunteers for a search/rescue. The same group that assisted in the successful search for the 14-year-old girl in the Ridgewood area Tuesday night.
Doesn’t sound like Humboldt S&R went to the Mendocino search. From McKinleyville I’ve been hearing them, but very scratchy, all afternoon. Talk is mentioning narrow roads, Snow-Cat, and places to turn around, but from where I am it’s probably in northeastern Humboldt or possibly adjacent (or high elevation) areas of Del Norte or Trinity County. Just guessing though.
I’m praying.for her safe return.
Hope she is found soon and safe.
Humboldt S.A.R. was busy with a snow Rescue on route 1
