Residents on Smith ln have had several things stolen from garage including bicycles 2 treks with peddle asset electric hubs 1 specialized bike rack recovered 1 hub at Johnny trailer park in Fortuna if anyone is missing anything drive through you may not find it in one piece but check chop shop at yellow apartment building the one with fort Knox type gate thats where I found parts. Oh and beaware I spotted one of my vintage bikes being used to Scout out other homes in fortuna I even seen the guy hop neighborhood fences checking for entrance. I didn’t call police this time because they didn’t bother coming out and took them an hour to come to trailer park apartment they did a search but of course didn’t find our belongings by that time.

I hate these f@ckers! Fortuna cops suck as well. They sit and watch stop signs to make sure you don’t roll through them, but they cant keep the trash off the streets. Whats it going to take? What has to happen before the parasites are dealt with? Church street is a hub for POS tweekers. One guy on that street is well known. Are the parasites going to his home? The cops were there a few weeks ago and the cockroaches scattered, roaming the streets until the cops left. I told one of the young druggies, she needed to keep walking. It could be the guy on the corner of School and Weber, well known tweeker thief. He might have parked the car and walked home. So sick of this.

I invested in a security alarm. No one can’t get into my house without waking me up, guaranteed. When I wake up so does my .44 Magnum.

I wonder what it would take to get security systems such as yours into more hands, specifically the Elders and disabled. Government subsidies? Tax deductions? Local Non-profit grants? Direct appeals to the manufacturers?
This burglary is just plain awful, on so many counts. I’m grateful the poor guy either slept through it or kept still. That could have made the difference between his life and death. af
