Must not have been wearing a seat belt either, which would ‘probably’ prevented him from being ejected from the car. People just don’t want to follow the law at times and they wind up paying the ultimate price for it down the road. Hopefully he will survive and learn his lesson about the rules and laws as dictated by the State of California.

The law does not apply to vehicles equipped standard factory without seatbelts……wondering what grey car is (in fairness)….but you are correct to imply that a restraint system usually saves lives and often people don’t wear them.

Prayers and love to all involved. Head injuries are scary. Seems like a lot of wrecks, dead bodies, murders lately. Kym I don’t know how you do it. Reporting all these traumatic stories and yet you still keep on keeping on. You are a stronger person than I. Thank you for what you do!

Ejected generally means not wearing a seatbelt… Forget the ticket (which is just nanny state crap) – buckle up because you don’t want your head caved in!

Law or not, common sense prevails as the reason I never go without a seat belt…..and the same with helmets. Hope this guy pulls through.
