An ambulance is responding.

UPDATE 8:02 p.m.: “Power lines are down. PG&E is responding,” reports the Incident Commander.

UPDATE 8:08 p.m.: “It looks like the driver ran off. We’re doing a further search,” the Incident Commander states.

The road may be “passable”, but if power lines are down, traffic should be stopped two power poles away from downed poles and lines in each direction until it is confirmed that PG&E has shut down the power. The situation is a definite life hazard.

That corner on Elk Creek rd is a life hazard with or without powerlines down.
