[UPDATE 1:36 p.m.] Shots Fired Into Porch in Eureka

As of 12:30 p.m., Eureka Police are responding to the report of shots fired in the 1600 block of Union Street. According to Eureka Police spokesperson, Brittany Powell said that the initial report shows that a verbal argument escalated until shots were fired. At least one shot may have been fired into a porch.

UPDATE 1:02 p.m.: The EPD is searching for a suspect in a silver sedan, according to information just broadcast over the scanner.
