Another K-9 Stabbed!

k-9 Ice stabbed in the line of duty

K-9 Ice

Press release from the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office:

On July 21, 2016 at approximately 7 a.m. the Trinity County Sheriff’s Dispatch Center was notified that a K9 had been stabbed and a helicopter was being requested at their location. The Dispatch Center was notified by the Trinity County Sheriff’s Deputy who was working with the U.S. Forest Service in a remote location in Trinity County eradicating marijuana. The K9 who was injured was identified as K9 Ice with the U.S. Forest Service.

A California Highway Patrol helicopter was dispatched to the location where K9 Ice and his handler were located and they were both flown to Redding, Calif. K9 Ice was taken to a Redding area Animal Hospital where he was taken into surgery and treated for a stab wound to his chest and two cuts to his face.

K9 Ice is in stable condition.

The mission of the U.S. Forest Service, part U.S. Department of Agriculture, is to sustain the health, diversity and productivity of the nation’s forests and grasslands to meet the needs of present and future generations. The agency manages 193 million acres of public land, provides assistance to state and private landowners, and maintains the largest forestry research organization in the world. Public lands the Forest Service manages contribute more than $13 billion to the economy each year through visitor spending alone. Those same lands provide 20 percent of the nation’s clean water supply, a value estimated at $7.2 billion per year. The agency has either a direct or indirect role in stewardship of about 80 percent of the 850 million forested acres within the U.S., of which 100 million acres are urban forests where most Americans live.

Heal fast buddy! Dog Lives Matter!!

And I know I’ll catch hell for this, but often times far more than their human antagonists.

No hell from this quarter. Dogs are so much more dependable and honest than humans.

Send the A**H*** who did this to me. I’ve got some sharp razor blades to skin him alive. Have no conscience what so ever to do that to the scumbum.

Did they catch the guy?

I still think the K9s should be deployed in pairs. Less chance of injury to the dog that way. 2 dogs would overwhelm the perp.

I would call this a joint USFS and TCSO statement. There is no way TCSO wrote that last paragraph.

It's time.

Once again, the “Dogs Of War” training by human beings who dont want to do the dirty work.

Dogs should not be put into death scenarios, but alas, the humans who create the death scenarios are too chicken shit to get stabbed in the kevlar chest protector.

EXACTLY, they want to use their dogs to surprise the growers then wonder why the dogs get stabbed or shot…. Time to STOP these SURPRISE RAIDS before a Grower or an Officer gets killed, these surprise raids are aimed at confrontations like these…. Time to pass legislation which bans these dangerous confrontational raids.

Get rid of the Eradication teams and allow our community to prosper, the problem isn’t pot growers, the problem is eradication.

This is the truth...

Most likely an illegal person over here growing boat loads of pot. If we really want this to stop there has to be a way to keep illegal people out of this country. This is also where most of the HARD DRUGS are coming from. If we keep Hillary Clinton, we keep illegals. And if we keep letting illegals in, the drugs and valance and life styles that go along with it will be here to stay.

The answer is FULL LEGALIZATION, there is nothing wrong with growing boat loads of pot except the BS idea that pot should stay illegal! Legalize it and let our Nation Prosper!

Sad thing that CAMP AND CANNABIS ERADICATORS are so set on these “surprise busts” where they try to surprise armed growers rather than alert the growers with helicopters so there is no confrontation…. These busts are aimed at confronting cannabis farmers which is why Mendocino and Humboldt are seeing a rise in Cannabis Farmers being shot by law enforcement or VICE VERSA, NO PUN INTENDED… a bad for farmers and everybody else including law enforcement. How many cannabis farmers will be shot this year by these clandestine military style raids when they could easily alert the farmers and ensure the safety of everyone involved? Why such an interest in “capturing guerilla farmers” rather than ensuring there are no injuries and no deaths by avoiding confrontation? This eradication could have easily been performed without any injuries to farmers, law enforcement or k9 officers. As a county Mendo and Humboldt both need to realize these clandestine military eradication techniques endanger the lives of farmers officers and our entire community, No More Officer or Farmer deaths, these deaths and operations are far worse than any amount of cannabis growing in the forest. Tome to reform these sneaky dangerous law enforcement eradication techniques for the safety of our community.

Both incidents were in Trinity County. We are the quieter corner of the emerald triangle if you didn’t notice.

Sux that the cops are too afraid to go after themselves so they send dogs while they drink water and cut pot plants Down. Such hard work.

Rape the land and steal the water and pretend that you’re righteous while growing a plant to make money on while you never contribute a shitty dick to the community you claim to care so much about.
You are a victim of the fraudulent lifestyle?
You chose this game. Learn the rules and accept the consequences.
Quit complaining because law enforcement beat you at the game.
