Ron Sanderson’s Celebration of Life
This section includes both obituaries and memories. Honoring our loved ones who have died does not end immediately after their passing. We recognize that… so we’re extending our obituary section to include individuals who may have left a long time ago. If you want to remember someone who is gone, either recently or longer ago, please send a photo and a few sentences to [email protected]. Tell us why you would like to honor the person–is it their birthday, the date of their passing or some other date of significance to you.
On July 14th Ron Sanderson suddenly passed away. He impacted many lives over the course of his beautiful journey so we invite all to share in a celebration of his life. There will be a graveside service at the Sunrise Cemetery Wednesday the 20th at 2:00 followed by a potluck reception at the Rio Dell Baptist Church. Immediately following will be Celebration of Life for the evening at the Rio Dell Fireman’s Hall. Please bring your best memory of Ron. He meant the world to us and a great many others. Please help us to celebrate this amazing loving man.
UPDATE: Plans have changed. There will not be a reception at the church. We will be going directly to the fire hall from the graveside service. It is still a potluck and people are welcome to bring food if they would like.

Ronald and I are cousins in several ways( it’s an Oklahoma thing) we worked together many times and their was never a written contract, a simple handshake and his word were worth more than any contract. Ronald was simply a GOOD MAN . God Bless cousin see you upstairs.

He was like an uncle to me, he will be forever missed RIP Uncle Ron, now you and my mom and Marilyn can dance and sing together.
I’ve known the Sanderson family since I was 10. Such a great family. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of his family. RIP Ron.
Ron was like a big brother to me and nurtured both Roger and I’s love for music from a young age. I can’t imagine a world without him in it. My heart goes out to the Sandersons and may the memories of Ron, be many and often ~
