Vegetation Fire in Fortuna
A fire was burning on Drake Hill Road in Fortuna between Ronald Avenue and Penn Avenue. Dispatch received a call about the flames at approximately 7:30. Fire crews are headed to the site but people on the site appear to have “knocked down the flames,” according to Dispatch.

Just wondering if all these vegetation fires were from people throwing out their stupid cigarette’s?
It’s the age old theory that “concrete/blacktop won’t burn” that is chanted while flipping the but out of the car window. Had to as the car’s ashtray was full of change.
