Reader/Photographer Laurie Jensen is alerting us to a shooting that occurred at the McCullens Motel in Eureka early this morning.

“At approximately 4:30 a.m. I thought I heard gunfire coming from the McCullens Street Motel,” Jensen said.

Jensen said an officer with the department confirmed that someone had been shot. However, the officer didn’t give her any information beyond that.

Jensen says the whole area is blocked off for the department to investigate. We’ll update this post when we get more information.
