Two Being Medevacked by Helicopter After Vehicle Hits Tree

Between Myers Flat and Weott, a vehicle with three occupants struck a tree about 12:45 p.m. on the Avenue of the Giants. Emergency personal reported that at least one patient needs to be extracted. Two ambulances are heading to the scene and a Reach helicopter is flying towards the Dyerville Overlook to pick up two patients so they can be transported to an out of the area hospital.

UPDATE 1:35 p.m.: The Avenue is being shut down temporarily.

UPDATE 3 p.m.: Roadway is now open.
