‘No Suggestion of Criminal Activity’ in Death of Woman Found in Parked Car

Saturday, a passerby noted that a car had been in the same spot for most of the day on Reasor Road in McKinleyville and walked closer to investigate. The person in the car aroused the passerby’s suspicions and law enforcement was called about 6 p.m. Emergency personnel pronounced the woman deceased at the scene. She was later identified as Linda Kuttler age 49 of McKinleyville.

There is no suggestion of criminal activity, according to the Humboldt County Coroner’s Office. “We don’t have a cause of death yet,” said Selena Zorrilla-Mendoza spokesperson for the Humboldt County Coroner. “The autopsy is tomorrow.”
