Man Stabbed in Neck in McKinleyville
A little after midnight last night, a man was stabbed in the 1900 block of D Street in McKinleyville and rushed to the hospital where he is reportedly in very serious condition. Jennifer Scott, who took these photos, reported seeing “a ton of sheriff and emergency personnel hauling [the] victim off in ambulance.” The victim, she said, was “bleeding a lot.”
Reports on social media indicate that the situation originated in a domestic violence incident. But the details of that are unclear. The name of the man sought in the incident as well as his photo also appears on social media but the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office when reached was not yet ready to comment on the situation.

I just recently met this woman and let me tell you she is the victim and that young man that came to her rescue is a hero. Never make judgement unless you know all the facts!
Regardless if you believe me, I never slapped, hit, or kicked that lady the whole time I was with her. I broke up with her and went back to get my phone and Title to my car that I forgot. I knocked on the door and when I introduced myself, my ex starts yelling help and calling the neighbors name. The so called hero grabbed my throat because of my ex saying I hurt her and I never did. I can show you the police report that I wasn’t doing anything to cause your hero to put his hands on me. Also this guy was in her life before I was. I did what I did but your hero put his hands on me first. Lesson learned here. Don’t be gullible and superman. I learned to. I should of left the relationship earlier and I didn’t need to do what I did
