[UPDATE 9:35 p.m.: Traffic Control] Vehicle Under a Big Rig

A car hit the back end of a semi on Myrtle Avenue about 9:20 p.m. Originally, witnesses thought someone was trapped in the vehicle but, according to scanner traffic, the driver fled the scene with a dog.

Avoid the area for now.

UPDATE 9:35 p.m.: One-way traffic control is being set up.

Well at least he took his dog with him. So many in Humboldt abandon their family members.

Hopefully the dog is ok.they get slammed inside a vehicle pretty good when you have to brake hard.if he ran something is up.drunk,no insurance,no license they will (they’ll )get you

Exactly why those big rigs are parked there. They got tired of their business being wrecked by vehicles not making that turn. Glad the guy and his walked away.
