EPD Searching for Fleeing Man in Area of Buhne Street
Eureka Police are seeking a subject who raced away after officers tried to confront him about possible drug use about quarter to one this afternoon.
According to police spokesperson Brittany Powell, after receiving a report of a suspicious person possibly injecting drugs in the 2500 block of Fairfield about 12:45 p.m, Eureka Police responded to the scene. The suspect fled towards Long Street by jumping over fences. The white male in his twenties then fled through the bushes. Eventually, he ran through people’s yards and eventually towards Buhne Street.
Officers lost sight of him around the 700 block of Buhne Street. Officers are keeping a lookout at this point for a white male in his twenties with a baseball cap on backwards and gym shorts. If you believe you have information, please contact the EPD at (707) 441-4060

Well, on the bright side, his escape will save the police all that trouble of having to turn him loose again.

If drugs were legal & properly controlled this guy could shoot up safely & cheaply in a safe clean enviornment and we would save BILLIONS in law enforcement costs
And instead spend it on healthcare for said drug addicts…. good plan, not!
